Next week some of the ladies are getting together for the bridal shower of one of the newcomers. I'll be making a chocolate turtle cheesecake and I'll be giving the bride several head scarves.

We're also putting together a cookbook, which I'm doing the layout for. We're going to print one copy to give her and I think I'm going to burn CDs for the other guests.

I think I'm also going to use digiscrapping for this project. No, I KNOW I will.

I'm not sure about one thing though.

The digital version, I can make any size I want, so I'm going to 'make' large index card size (smaller than an A5), with each recipe on it's own card. Plus it will be in full color.

I'm not sure what to do about the printed version. I have several options.

The original idea is one of the other women has volunteered to print it (we're talking about 20 A4 sized pages) but I need to find out what kind of printer she has - I'm not sure her home printer would have the quality I'm looking for plus I need to know if it's full color.

I'm not sure I want to do A4 for the printed version, so I need to see if she can print A5 easily.

The other option I just thought of is to forget a cookbook and just make JPGs (or PDFs) of the oversized index cards I plan for the digital version and take it to a photomat and print them up...
