NS adores his baby brother (for now ;) ). NS is starting to insist on 'holding' him, or at least setting EN down next to him on the couch (since EN isn't THAT much smaller than NS is LOL). Also insists on having EN in bed with him for some play time... AND NS gives EN kisses.

And EN's face just lights up when he sees his big bro. Let's hope this lasts.

Nati had a bit of a milestone today. He came over to the computer, pointed to it and said "Nanana". I asked him if he wants to watch Elmo. He shook his head and I asked him if he wanted to watch Pablo (The Backyardigans) he shook his head again, pointed to the computer and said "Nananana".

So I asked him if he wants to talk (video Skype) to Nana (Zach's mom). He smiled, laughed and clapped his hands.

Not only is this the first time he's referred to my MIL by 'name', or use a sound other than Ba or Baba when referring to someone (he calls Zach and TC Ba and SR Baba and has no name for me) but it's also the first time he's asked to call someone.

Here are 2 of the 3 kittens we almost took in over the weekend. If it weren't for SR's cat allergy, we probably would have taken one or three home...

Here's a couple of cute EN photos...

EN likes to nurse this way... when he nurses on the right side he often puts his foot up to my chin for some reason. I'll try and get a photo of that.

One of my symptoms of PCOS is the fact that the hair on my head falls out. I don't have bald spots, but until I got pregnant with NS, if my hair got to shoulder length, I would have hair in my hands every time I washed or brushed my hair.

SO I kept my hair short.

Except now it doesn't seem to be working. My hair is pretty short and it's falling out more than usual.

5 months post-partum with EN now - should I be having such bad hair loss?

I've been thinking of going back on the Metformin to start losing weight more consistently but since I also seem to be among the 20% of PCOS sufferers who have OVERsupply issues, I'm hesitant to take meds to control the PCOS at the expense of possibly having breast-feeding issues.

So.... I guess shave my head (ok, not totally shave it, but keep it pretty darn short) until EN self-weans then back on the Metformin...
