A couple of weeks ago the health clinic called and told me I needed to see the nurses for some sort of appointment. The connection wasn't the greatest plus one of the boys was yelling so I didn't really hear what it was for. I thought she said something about sugar or glucose but wasn't sure.

I arranged to the the appointment today since EN had his WBV anyway. Plus the girls were home and they were watching NS.

Turns out, for some reason the clinic thought I have diabetes. Not really sure where they got that from. Although I failed the 1 hour glucose test in both my last pregnancies, I passed the 3 hour test (although with NS I was borderline). And my latest blood panel was fine for that.

But as long as I was there, she took my blood pressure (a bit high but I think if she had taken it a second time, it would have been fine. She also weighed me and to my surprise, in the 8 1/2 months since EN has been born, I haven't gained any weight.

I haven't lost any either, but I'm counting my blessings because I thought for sure I had gained some weight.

So after Chanukah (with all the parties I'm going to, who am I kidding about starting a diet NOW), I'll be really starting to watch what I eat.

I'm also thinking that when EN turns 1 to go back on the Metformin to get my PCOS under control. I was able to lose weight while on the Met.

I feel like I just hit this wall and I am ready to fall over from exhaustion.

I think I'm going to crawl into bed at 8 p.m.

I really hate this "getting dark by 6 p.m." thing because by 6:01, I'm ready for bed.

The girls went with the K boys to Jerusalem to see a movie and for pizza.

It is NOT a date as they are paying for themselves. I refuse to call it a date.

One of the digital scrapping sites I now belong to has various contests and challenges. I've subscribed to a few and did my first submission for 2 of them, combining them together.

One contest was to use the word 'Devotion' in the layout. The other was to use a blue colored background, a heart element and a round frame. All from the website's store or freebies. Other elements can be used as well.
